Welcome to the Kulture Break site!
Only a few months left till Christmas! It's been a very prosperous year with so many great points to mention thus far. We've had the success of the Dreams Expo Festival in May, in June 1st Place for the Man-Up boys at AHC, July the World Expo Tour in Shanghai, China and the Nubien Gents tour in Canberra. We have also had dozens of great reports from students and parents about the positive impact our programs on the youth of Canberra. This would not be possible without the help of dedicated volunteers and supporters who believe in the mission of Kulture Break "to influence a culture and empower a generation"
God Bless!

During the school terms most of our Kulture Break staff are in schools across the ACT teaching classes which does limits the opening hours of our studio. We understand that this does cause a slight inconvenience especially for those wishing to drop in to the studio. To address we are restructuring some of our hours to allow for set opening and closing hours from Monday to Saturday. Our premises will remain closed on Sundays. The new Office hours will be posted on our site by Wednesday August 25th.
Kulture Break is committing to providing quality services for community and thus we are in the process of conducting a total review of all the services we offer for further improvement. A survey will be released online to all KB members and supporters seeking feedback response to our current programs.
All participants in the survey receive a KB gift voucher plus will go into a draw to win to prize packs valued over $1000.00 (prizes include KB Streetwear packs ( including hats, T-shirt's and shoes, and other assorted gift packs)
Survey will be released online Sept 6th

Science Project
Back in May, Kulture Break was approached by Dance Kids to do a film
project about how climate change works. With the help of Gret Dikemans,
BB Gosh and Isaac Rapana various creative dance pieces by were produced
along with a song. The song "Environment" written by Shaka Browning and
Vouche Delle was turned into a film clip. Thanks also to Circ Extreme,
KBDA and Man-Up for their involvement. To view the film clip visits our
home page at www.kulturebreak.com.

Between July 3rd -12th a team of seven from Kulture Break were sent by the ACT Government to represent Canberra at the World Expo in Shanghai, China. We received much coverage in the lead up with major news articles in the Canberra Times, Win TV reports and various other media outlet coverage. Going to China was an amazing experience with the team performing for 2.5 hours a day in the Australian Pavilion to audience over 75,000 people during a 6 day period. They were so popular that a Hollywood producer even invited them to perform on stage with movie stars Jackie Chan and Will Smith's son Jaden a week later. Unfortunately due to the time scheduling we were unable to make the event. It is great to see Kulture Break go from Lanyon to the world stage.
